Formal T'Challa and Ororo

This is one of my favorite photos of us cosplaying together! We planned these outfits about a week before the convention and of course, I worked my magic to make due with what we had and with things scavenged from the local Savers.

Very easy to do: I sewed T'Challa a sash from a scarf I found at savers and broke apart one of those shell bracelets with long skinny shells in order to make the "spikes" on his mantle. The circle came from a cheap necklace and I painted it all gold.

For Storm? Put on my wig, my favorite black dress, and added gold accessories I purchased from Savers, including the gauntlets/wrist guards. I did base it on a panel from the comic which is why I have the white scarf as a shaul.
